Global & Local Mission
From the beginning our church has had the belief that God's kingdom is much bigger than ourselves and our immediate area. We recognise our church is a small part of a global church body and we have a responsibility to play an active part in this. Over the years we have had numerous people from our church sent out on long and short term mission work. We support other missions organisations and have a work team who get involved in regular building projects.

We believe in encouraging each other in mission whether it be at home or overseas and we seek to support people and mission partners through prayer and financial support. Currently we are supporting 7 mission organisations on a regular basis: Baptist Missions, Serving in Mission (SIM), OM, Wycliffe, HCJB, Biblica and Scripture Union. We have supported and sent people to Romania, Nigeria, Jamaica, India, Moldova, Spain, Madagascar & Indonesia to name a few.
Wycliffe Bible Translators believe that the Bible is the best way for people to come to know and understand who God is. Our vision is that by working with churches, organisations and individuals from around the world all people will have access to God's word in a language that they truly understand.
Our own missionaries Des and Lynne Harper are currently serving on the Logos Hope ship as it moves it's way around Asia. Working in every region of the world our aim is to motivate and equip Christians to share God’s love and to strengthen and plant churches especially in areas where Christ is least known. www.uk.om.org Irish Baptist Missions Our strategy is working with existing Baptist churches in Europe, Peru and Ireland, to reach out and plant new churches, and to help those existing and new churches to grow and develop spiritually and numerically.
Irish Baptist Missions
Our strategy is working with existing Baptist churches in Europe, Peru and Ireland, to reach out and plant new churches, and to help those existing and new churches to grow and develop spiritually and numerically.
Reach Beyond is focused on being the Voice and Hands of Jesus. Our mission is to reach the unreached and under-engaged with the Good News of Jesus Christ through modern media and community healthcare.
The Voice of Jesus is heard through our many radio plants set up with partners from Asia to Africa, and through satellite and shortwave signals beaming across the globe in many languages.
The Hands of Jesus are experienced through our community healthcare clinics and clean water projects in places such as Africa, Latin America and Asia Pacific, many linked to radio station plants.
SIM Serving in Mission
We are the UK branch of SIM, an international organisation with more than 1,600 missionaries serving in over 60 countries. Our members serve God among many diverse people groups in Africa, Asia, and South America. SIM members are international themselves, representing over 30 nationalities — including nations that in the past only received missionaries. They also serve in a wide variety of career fields. The SIM family can use people of every ethnicity who have almost any skill imaginable!
Scripture Union NI
The Scripture Union movement began with a man called Josiah Spiers explaining to children how Jesus loves them; since then the heart for helping children, young people and families know God has spread across the world. We do this through schools work and summer camps.
Our mission is to transform lives through God’s word. Our vision is to see the work of Biblica complete when every person in the world is given an opportunity to encounter Jesus Christ through God’s Word and be transformed. Biblica conducts ministries in three core strategies: Translation, Publishing and Bible Engagement. These ministries make the transforming message of God’s Word accessible for people in any life circumstance.
