NEW TO GBC?
Coming to a new church can be a bit daunting, so this info is to try to make it a bit easier! We hope this is useful and look forward to meeting you!
What time does the service start?
We have two services on a Sunday. The first begins in the morning at 10:30am and the second service begins in the evening at 7:00pm. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early before a service starts.
What can I expect?
When you arrive at GBC you'll be met by our welcome team and these friendly folks will direct you to the church. If you have children with you, they will explain where the creche is located or where to register your kids for Sunday Club (a children's activity for preschool to primary school aged children).
The church is located upstairs, and there is a lift available if required. Other stewards will meet you here and guide you to a seat.
Our morning service lasts 75-90mins, and the evening service lasts an hour. There is a time of praise, with a mixture of traditional hymns, and contemporary songs. As part of our worship, we lift an offering, but if you are a first time guest, please do not feel obliged to give. Children are dismissed halfway through the morning service for their own activity, while a speaker will then teach from the Bible.
After the services, refreshments are served in the Mango Tree cafe, and people often stay to speak with one another.
Where is the church?
The church is located in Greenisland Estate at 17 Glassillan Grove, Greenisland, BT38 8FE. Directions are available here.
What should I wear?
There's no dress code at GBC - whatever you feel comfortable in! Most people are usually dressed in a casual manner, while others wear something smarter. It's up to you!
Where can you park?
There is free parking to the front and side of the church along Glassillan Grove.
